We care.

We live and work surrounded by sublime Norwegian nature on the rural westcoast of Norway. What we do is the result of authentic living and sharing those values with you.

Our measures to contibute towards social and environmental sustainability:

‘one NODE’ has started to activate a meaningful process by (re-)using local resources and potentials in a sustainable and regenerative way. We believe it is the starting point to bring a positive shift.

Part of this process is to identify and (re-)use existing materials to create new potentials. E.g., the fabric for our signature Living Heritage Shirt is upcycled from a past shirt production for the Norwegian military.

‘one NODE’ would like to have an open dialogue with a global audience ever more interested in sustainable and ethical goods with a strong cultural story.

To foster our regenerative visions, it is imperative to implement in the business model the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as:

No.8: Decent work and economic growth | No.12: Responsible consumption and
production patterns | No.14: Life below water (https://sdgs.un.org/goals)

‘one NODE’ needs to contribute to the reduction of carbon emission, therefore we are fully commited to:
• Fabrics and materials sourced and produced in Europe
• Garment production in Europe

Materials used for our products are carefully selected according to their innovative and intelligent properties, and according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), PSV (Second Life Plastic) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Our packaging is reduced to its minimum to not add more waste products.
Packaging is compostable (mailing satchel) and recyclable. Our hangtags and thank you cards are made of biodegradable bamboo.
