ABOUT
Designer and founder of “ONE NODE AS," Julia Kroener, lives and works on a small island on the west coast of Norway, together with her artist husband Bjørn Venø and their two small children who are also their adventure companions. In the neighboring village Selje, she works in a coexistent and shared space alongside a long-standing Norwegian uniform supplier to the public sector.
Julia is a German fashion designer and educator, pattern maker and ladies’ tailor and a founder of rural arts organization Venø Gård KUNST. She has a Master of Arts in Fashion Design and Technology from London College of Fashion and worked for fashion brands such as Karen Millen, Mary Katrantzou and Victoria Beckham among others. Before moving to rural Norway in July 2020 Julia was a Professor of Fashion at SCAD, the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
In the spring of 2022 inspired by the sublime Norwegian landscape, the culture and generosity of the Norwegians 'one NODE' was born.
