Julia Kröner, founder of ONE NODE, lives on a small island on Norway’s west coast with her husband, artist Bjørn Venø, and their two young children, their adventure companions. In nearby Selje, she shares a studio space with a Norwegian uniform supplier.

Originally from Germany, Julia is a fashion designer, tailor, pattern maker, fashion educator and the founder of the arts organisation Venø Gård KUNST. With a Master’s in Fashion Design and Technology from London College of Fashion, she has worked for renowned brands like Karen Millen and Victoria Beckham. After moving to Norway in 2020, the breathtaking landscape and rich Norwegian tradition and culture, inspired Julia to create ONE NODE in 2022 to tell an important story from her perspective.
